Hey, I’m Kat.

I am a postpartum doula who is passionate about supporting other mothers and their families! I am a wife and mother, and I am an aspiring homesteader with chickens, a garden and my sourdough starter, Breadthuselah (like Methuselah from the Bible).

My goal is to help you rest and enjoy the newest little addition to your family by helping with the thing that never stops - life.

“Postpartum doula? What’s that?”

Doulas are non-medical professionals

Postpartum doulas are women hired to provide support and care to the mother of a newborn baby.

The priority in the newborn stage should be resting, recovering, and bonding. A postpartum doula can help make that possible. A doula helps you focus on these things, which can help reduce postpartum mood complications and other difficulties.

I focus on YOU, while you focus on baby

You arrive home from the hospital, birth center, or your birth team just left your home. Reality sets in. You have this fully-dependent-on-you little human, and you need rest.

That’s where I come in. Whether it’s keeping an eye on baby while you sleep or shower, sweeping floors, grabbing you a snack while you nurse, washing bottles, or lending a supportive ear; my goals is to help this be as smooth a transition as possible.
